To study and analyze different proposed mitigation options including the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir (SR1) and Mclean Creek (MC1), utilizing the knowledge and expertise of our group members in order to highlight the pros and cons of these projects. Also, to generate public awareness on the extreme and critical importance of water management and flood protection, which have significant impact on lives and taxpayers money.
To study, research, design and present alternative comprehensive options for flood mitigation concerning the four rivers of Bow, Elbow, Sheep and Highwood in southern Alberta.
